It was in 2003 that Randi founded her entertainment marketing and public relations firm Cone Media and Associates, specializing in television launches and corporate branding campaigns. She has represented such clients as Oxygen Media, This Old House Ventures, Time Warner, Tupperware, WE: Women’s Entertainment, the Denis Leary Firefighter Foundation, Twentieth Century Fox Television, the Fuse Network, PBS’ series Moment of Luxury, and The Museum of the Moving Image, among many others. Prior to striking out on her own, Randi served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at America Online, where she oversaw all consumer public relations for the national Internet provider. She also held the post of Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at King World, overseeing publicity for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Inside Edition, and Hollywood Squares. For five years, Randi was Executive Vice President at Rogers and Cowan, the world’s largest entertainment public relations agency, overseeing their television department where she spearheaded publicity campaigns for the major studios, production companies and networks including Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, NBC Productions, UPN, Vin Bona Productions and Dick Clark Productions. She has also headed up PR departments at Mademoiselle magazine, ABC News, Showtime and PBS. Randi additionally served as a partner in her own successful bi-coastal public relations firm, Schecter/Cone/McAllister. She has created campaigns for some of television’s most honored series and specials including Access Hollywood, Homicide: Life on the Street, Judge Judy, King of the Hill, The X-Files, America's Funniest Home Videos, The SAG Awards, The People's Choice Awards, Live From Lincoln Center, and The MTV Video Music Awards, as well as for the cable networks VH1, Cartoon Network, and Animal Planet.
